Sura 18 Al-Kahf (The Cave), ayah 32

1. وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَثَلًا رَجُلَيْنِ جَعَلْنَا لِأَحَدِهِمَا جَنَّتَيْنِ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَحَفَفْنَاهُمَا بِنَخْلٍ وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمَا زَرْعًا

   Translation by words

   وَٱضْرِبْ

   And set forth

   لَهُم

   to them

   مَّثَلًا

   the example

   رَّجُلَيْنِ

   of two men:

   جَعَلْنَا

   We provided

   لِأَحَدِهِمَا

   for one of them

   جَنَّتَيْنِ

   two gardens

   مِنْ

   of

   أَعْنَٰبٍ

   grapes,

   وَحَفَفْنَٰهُمَا

   and We bordered them

   بِنَخْلٍ

   with date-palms,

   وَجَعَلْنَا

   and We placed

   بَيْنَهُمَا

   between both of them

   زَرْعًا

   crops.

   And present to them an example of two men: We granted to one of them two gardens of grapevines, and We bordered them with palm trees and placed between them (fields of) crops.
