Sura 21 Al-Anbiya (The Prophets), ayah 40

بَلْ تَأْتِيهِمْ بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُونَ
Translation by words
- بَلْ
- Nay,
- تَأْتِيهِم
- it will come to them
- بَغْتَةً
- unexpectedly
- فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ
- and bewilder them,
- فَلَا
- then not
- يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
- they will be able
- رَدَّهَا
- to repel it,
- وَلَا
- and not
- هُمْ
- they
- يُنظَرُونَ
- will be given respite.
Rather, it will come to them unexpectedly and bewilder them, and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be reprieved.
