Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 53

  1. وَإِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِهِ إِنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا مِنْ قَبْلِهِ مُسْلِمِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَإِذَا
    And when
    يُتْلَىٰ
    it is recited
    عَلَيْهِمْ
    to them
    قَالُوٓا۟
    they say,
    ءَامَنَّا
    "We believe
    بِهِۦٓ
    in it.
    إِنَّهُ
    Indeed, it
    ٱلْحَقُّ
    (is) the truth
    مِن
    from
    رَّبِّنَآ
    our Lord.
    إِنَّا
    Indeed, we
    كُنَّا
    [we] were
    مِن
    before it
    قَبْلِهِۦ
    before it
    مُسْلِمِينَ
    Muslims."

    And when it is recited to them, they say, "We have believed in it; indeed, it is the truth from our Lord. Indeed we were, (even) before it, Muslims (submitting to Allah)."
