Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 73

  1. وَمِنْ رَحْمَتِهِ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَمِن
    And from
    رَّحْمَتِهِۦ
    His Mercy
    جَعَلَ
    He made
    لَكُمُ
    for you
    ٱلَّيْلَ
    the night
    وَٱلنَّهَارَ
    and the day,
    لِتَسْكُنُوا۟
    that you may rest
    فِيهِ
    therein
    وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟
    and that you may seek
    مِن
    from
    فَضْلِهِۦ
    His Bounty,
    وَلَعَلَّكُمْ
    and so that you may
    تَشْكُرُونَ
    be grateful.

    And out of His mercy He made for you the night and the day that you may rest therein and (by day) seek from His bounty and (that) perhaps you will be grateful.
