Sura 6 Al-An'am (The Cattle), ayah 83
-
وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَا آتَيْنَاهَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ ۚ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَاتٍ مَنْ نَشَاءُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
Translation by words
- وَتِلْكَ
- And this
- حُجَّتُنَآ
- (is) Our argument,
- ءَاتَيْنَٰهَآ
- We gave it
- إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
- (to) Ibrahim
- عَلَىٰ
- against
- قَوْمِهِۦ
- his people.
- نَرْفَعُ
- We raise
- دَرَجَٰتٍ
- (by) degrees
- مَّن
- whom
- نَّشَآءُ
- We will.
- إِنَّ
- Indeed,
- رَبَّكَ
- your Lord
- حَكِيمٌ
- (is) All-Wise,
- عَلِيمٌ
- All-Knowing.
And that was Our (conclusive) argument which We gave Abraham against his people. We raise by degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing.
6:83
