Mushaf, page 584

1. كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا

   It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained (in the world) except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.

   79:46

2. إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرُ مَنْ يَخْشَاهَا

   You are only a warner for those who fear it.

   79:45

3. إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنْتَهَاهَا

   To your Lord is its finality.

   79:44

4. فِيمَ أَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرَاهَا

   In what (position) are you that you should mention it?

   79:43

5. يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا

   They ask you, (O Muhammad), about the Hour: when is its arrival?

   79:42

6. فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَىٰ

   Then indeed, Paradise will be (his) refuge.

   79:41

7. وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ

   But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from (unlawful) inclination,

   79:40

8. فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَىٰ

   Then indeed, Hellfire will be (his) refuge.

   79:39

9. وَآثَرَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا

   And preferred the life of the world,

   79:38

10. فَأَمَّا مَنْ طَغَىٰ

    So as for he who transgressed

    79:37

11. وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِمَنْ يَرَىٰ

    And Hellfire will be exposed for (all) those who see -

    79:36

12. يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا سَعَىٰ

    The Day when man will remember that for which he strove,

    79:35

13. فَإِذَا جَاءَتِ الطَّامَّةُ الْكُبْرَىٰ

    But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity -

    79:34

14. مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ

    As provision for you and your grazing livestock.

    79:33

15. وَالْجِبَالَ أَرْسَاهَا

    And the mountains He set firmly

    79:32

16. أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَاءَهَا وَمَرْعَاهَا

    He extracted from it its water and its pasture,

    79:31

17. وَالْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَاهَا

    And after that He spread the earth.

    79:30

18. وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَاهَا

    And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness.

    79:29

19. رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّاهَا

    He raised its ceiling and proportioned it.

    79:28

20. أَأَنْتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاءُ ۚ بَنَاهَا

    Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it.

    79:27

21. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِمَنْ يَخْشَىٰ

    Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear (Allah).

    79:26

22. فَأَخَذَهُ اللَّهُ نَكَالَ الْآخِرَةِ وَالْأُولَىٰ

    So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first (transgression).

    79:25

23. فَقَالَ أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَىٰ

    And said, "I am your most exalted lord."

    79:24

24. فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ

    And he gathered (his people) and called out

    79:23

25. ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَىٰ

    Then he turned his back, striving.

    79:22

26. فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ

    But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed.

    79:21

27. فَأَرَاهُ الْآيَةَ الْكُبْرَىٰ

    And he showed him the greatest sign,

    79:20

28. وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَىٰ

    And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear (Him)?'"

    79:19

29. فَقُلْ هَلْ لَكَ إِلَىٰ أَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ

    And say to him, 'Would you (be willing to) purify yourself

    79:18

30. اذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ

    Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed.

    79:17

31. إِذْ نَادَاهُ رَبُّهُ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى

    When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa,

    79:16
