Sura 10 Yunus (Jonas), ayah 39
-
بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيطُوا بِعِلْمِهِ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الظَّالِمِينَ
Translation by words
- بَلْ
- Nay,
- كَذَّبُوا۟
- they denied
- بِمَا
- what
- لَمْ
- not
- يُحِيطُوا۟
- they could encompass
- بِعِلْمِهِۦ
- (of) its knowledge
- وَلَمَّا
- and not
- يَأْتِهِمْ
- has come (to) them
- تَأْوِيلُهُۥ
- its interpretation.
- كَذَٰلِكَ
- Thus
- كَذَّبَ
- denied
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those
- مِن
- before them,
- قَبْلِهِمْ
- before them,
- فَٱنظُرْ
- then see
- كَيْفَ
- how
- كَانَ
- was
- عَٰقِبَةُ
- (the) end
- ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
- (of) the wrongdoers.
Rather, they have denied that which they encompass not in knowledge and whose interpretation has not yet come to them. Thus did those before them deny. Then observe how was the end of the wrongdoers.
