Sura 10 Yunus (Jonas), ayah 99
-
وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ لَآمَنَ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًا ۚ أَفَأَنْتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ حَتَّىٰ يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
Translation by words
- وَلَوْ
- And if
- شَآءَ
- (had) willed
- رَبُّكَ
- your Lord
- لَءَامَنَ
- surely, (would) have believed
- مَن
- who
- فِى
- (are) in
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- كُلُّهُمْ
- all of them
- جَمِيعًا
- together.
- أَفَأَنتَ
- Then, will you
- تُكْرِهُ
- compel
- ٱلنَّاسَ
- the mankind
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- يَكُونُوا۟
- they become
- مُؤْمِنِينَ
- believers?
And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed - all of them entirely. Then, (O Muhammad), would you compel the people in order that they become believers?
