Sura 11 Hud, ayah 13
-
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۖ قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِعَشْرِ سُوَرٍ مِثْلِهِ مُفْتَرَيَاتٍ وَادْعُوا مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Translation by words
- أَمْ
- Or
- يَقُولُونَ
- they say,
- ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ
- "He has fabricated it."
- قُلْ
- Say,
- فَأْتُوا۟
- "Then bring
- بِعَشْرِ
- ten
- سُوَرٍ
- Surahs
- مِّثْلِهِۦ
- like it
- مُفْتَرَيَٰتٍ
- fabricated,
- وَٱدْعُوا۟
- and call
- مَنِ
- whoever
- ٱسْتَطَعْتُم
- you can
- مِّن
- besides Allah
- دُونِ
- besides Allah
- ٱللَّهِ
- besides Allah
- إِن
- if
- كُنتُمْ
- you are
- صَٰدِقِينَ
- truthful."
Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten surahs like it that have been invented and call upon (for assistance) whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful."
11:13
Translation: Saheeh International
