Sura 11 Hud, ayah 42
-
وَهِيَ تَجْرِي بِهِمْ فِي مَوْجٍ كَالْجِبَالِ وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ ابْنَهُ وَكَانَ فِي مَعْزِلٍ يَا بُنَيَّ ارْكَبْ مَعَنَا وَلَا تَكُنْ مَعَ الْكَافِرِينَ
Translation by words
- وَهِىَ
- And it
- تَجْرِى
- sailed
- بِهِمْ
- with them
- فِى
- on
- مَوْجٍ
- the waves
- كَٱلْجِبَالِ
- like mountains,
- وَنَادَىٰ
- and Nuh called out
- نُوحٌ
- and Nuh called out
- ٱبْنَهُۥ
- (to) his son,
- وَكَانَ
- and he was
- فِى
- [in]
- مَعْزِلٍ
- apart,
- يَٰبُنَىَّ
- "O my son!
- ٱرْكَب
- Embark
- مَّعَنَا
- with us
- وَلَا
- and (do) not
- تَكُن
- be
- مَّعَ
- with
- ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- the disbelievers."
And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son who was apart (from them), "O my son, come aboard with us and be not with the disbelievers."
11:42
