Sura 11 Hud, ayah 65

1. فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُوا فِي دَارِكُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ وَعْدٌ غَيْرُ مَكْذُوبٍ

   Translation by words

   فَعَقَرُوهَا

   But they hamstrung her.

   فَقَالَ

   So he said,

   تَمَتَّعُوا۟

   "Enjoy (yourselves)

   فِى

   in

   دَارِكُمْ

   your home(s)

   ثَلَٰثَةَ

   (for) three

   أَيَّامٍ

   days.

   ذَٰلِكَ

   That

   وَعْدٌ

   (is) a promise

   غَيْرُ

   not

   مَكْذُوبٍ

   (to) be belied."

   But they hamstrung her, so he said, "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. That is a promise not to be denied."

   11:65
