Sura 14 Ibrahim, ayah 1

1. الر ۚ كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ النَّاسَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ

   Translation by words

   الٓر

   Alif Laam Ra.

   كِتَٰبٌ

   A Book

   أَنزَلْنَٰهُ

   which We have revealed

   إِلَيْكَ

   to you,

   لِتُخْرِجَ

   so that you may bring out

   ٱلنَّاسَ

   the mankind

   مِنَ

   from

   ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ

   the darkness[es]

   إِلَى

   to

   ٱلنُّورِ

   the light

   بِإِذْنِ

   by the permission

   رَبِّهِمْ

   (of) their Lord,

   إِلَىٰ

   to

   صِرَٰطِ

   the Path

   ٱلْعَزِيزِ

   (of) the All-Mighty,

   ٱلْحَمِيدِ

   the Praiseworthy.

   Alif, Lam, Ra. (This is) a Book which We have revealed to you, (O Muhammad), that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy -

   14:1
