Sura 16 Al-Nahl (The Bee), ayah 101

  1. وَإِذَا بَدَّلْنَا آيَةً مَكَانَ آيَةٍ ۙ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُنَزِّلُ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُفْتَرٍ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَإِذَا
    And when
    بَدَّلْنَآ
    We substitute
    ءَايَةً
    a Verse
    مَّكَانَ
    (in) place
    ءَايَةٍ
    (of) a Verse,
    وَٱللَّهُ
    and Allah -
    أَعْلَمُ
    (is) most knowing
    بِمَا
    of what
    يُنَزِّلُ
    He sends down
    قَالُوٓا۟
    they say,
    إِنَّمَآ
    "Only
    أَنتَ
    you
    مُفْتَرٍۭ
    (are) an inventor."
    بَلْ
    Nay,
    أَكْثَرُهُمْ
    most of them
    لَا
    (do) not
    يَعْلَمُونَ
    know.

    And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, (O Muhammad), are but an inventor (of lies)." But most of them do not know.
