Sura 16 Al-Nahl (The Bee), ayah 115

  1. إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ ۖ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

    Translation by words

    إِنَّمَا
    Only
    حَرَّمَ
    He has forbidden
    عَلَيْكُمُ
    to you
    ٱلْمَيْتَةَ
    the dead animal
    وَٱلدَّمَ
    and the blood
    وَلَحْمَ
    and the flesh
    ٱلْخِنزِيرِ
    (of) the swine,
    وَمَآ
    and what
    أُهِلَّ
    has been dedicated
    لِغَيْرِ
    to other (than)
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah
    بِهِۦ
    [with it].
    فَمَنِ
    But (if) one
    ٱضْطُرَّ
    (is) forced -
    غَيْرَ
    without (being)
    بَاغٍ
    disobedient,
    وَلَا
    and not
    عَادٍ
    a transgressor -
    فَإِنَّ
    then indeed,
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    غَفُورٌ
    (is) Oft-Forgiving,
    رَّحِيمٌ
    Most Merciful.

He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced (by necessity), neither desiring (it) nor transgressing (its limit) - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
