Sura 16 Al-Nahl (The Bee), ayah 43

  1. وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَمَآ
    And not
    أَرْسَلْنَا
    We sent
    مِن
    before you
    قَبْلِكَ
    before you
    إِلَّا
    except
    رِجَالًا
    men,
    نُّوحِىٓ
    We revealed
    إِلَيْهِمْ
    to them,
    فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟
    so ask
    أَهْلَ
    (the) people
    ٱلذِّكْرِ
    (of) the Reminder
    إِن
    if
    كُنتُمْ
    you
    لَا
    (do) not
    تَعْلَمُونَ
    know.

    And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed (Our message). So ask the people of the message if you do not know.
