Sura 16 Al-Nahl (The Bee), ayah 51

1. وَقَالَ اللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا إِلَٰهَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ ۖ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ فَإِيَّايَ فَارْهَبُونِ

   Translation by words

   وَقَالَ

   And Allah has said,

   ٱللَّهُ

   And Allah has said,

   لَا

   "(Do) not

   تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟

   take

   إِلَٰهَيْنِ

   [two] gods

   ٱثْنَيْنِ

   two,

   إِنَّمَا

   only

   هُوَ

   He

   إِلَٰهٌ

   (is) God

   وَٰحِدٌ

   One,

   فَإِيَّٰىَ

   so Me Alone

   فَٱرْهَبُونِ

   you fear [Me]."

   And Allah has said, "Do not take for yourselves two deities. He is but one God, so fear only Me."

   16:51
