Sura 16 Al-Nahl (The Bee), ayah 89

  1. وَيَوْمَ نَبْعَثُ فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ ۖ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ شَهِيدًا عَلَىٰ هَٰؤُلَاءِ ۚ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ تِبْيَانًا لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَيَوْمَ
    And the Day
    نَبْعَثُ
    We will resurrect
    فِى
    among
    كُلِّ
    every
    أُمَّةٍ
    nation
    شَهِيدًا
    a witness
    عَلَيْهِم
    over them
    مِّنْ
    from
    أَنفُسِهِمْ
    themselves.
    وَجِئْنَا
    And We (will) bring
    بِكَ
    you
    شَهِيدًا
    (as) a witness
    عَلَىٰ
    over
    هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
    these.
    وَنَزَّلْنَا
    And We sent down
    عَلَيْكَ
    to you
    ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
    the Book
    تِبْيَٰنًا
    (as) a clarification
    لِّكُلِّ
    of every
    شَىْءٍ
    thing
    وَهُدًى
    and a guidance
    وَرَحْمَةً
    and mercy
    وَبُشْرَىٰ
    and glad tidings
    لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
    for the Muslims.

    And (mention) the Day when We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you, (O Muhammad), as a witness over your nation. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims.

    16:89
