Sura 16 Al-Nahl (The Bee), ayah 9

  1. وَعَلَى اللَّهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَائِرٌ ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَعَلَى
    And upon
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah
    قَصْدُ
    (is) the direction
    ٱلسَّبِيلِ
    (of) the way,
    وَمِنْهَا
    and among them
    جَآئِرٌ
    (are) crooked.
    وَلَوْ
    And if
    شَآءَ
    He willed,
    لَهَدَىٰكُمْ
    surely He would have guided you
    أَجْمَعِينَ
    all.

    And upon Allah is the direction of the (right) way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all.
