Sura 17 Al-Isra (The Night Journey), ayah 24

  1. وَاخْفِضْ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَقُلْ رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

    Translation by words

    وَٱخْفِضْ
    And lower
    لَهُمَا
    to them
    جَنَاحَ
    (the) wing
    ٱلذُّلِّ
    (of) humility
    مِنَ
    (out) of
    ٱلرَّحْمَةِ
    [the] mercy
    وَقُل
    and say,
    رَّبِّ
    "My Lord!
    ٱرْحَمْهُمَا
    Have mercy on both of them
    كَمَا
    as
    رَبَّيَانِى
    they brought me up
    صَغِيرًا
    (when I was) small."

    And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up (when I was) small."
