Sura 17 Al-Isra (The Night Journey), ayah 35

1. وَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ إِذَا كِلْتُمْ وَزِنُوا بِالْقِسْطَاسِ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا

   Translation by words

   وَأَوْفُوا۟

   And give full

   ٱلْكَيْلَ

   [the] measure

   إِذَا

   when

   كِلْتُمْ

   you measure,

   وَزِنُوا۟

   and weigh

   بِٱلْقِسْطَاسِ

   with the balance

   ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِ

   the straight.

   ذَٰلِكَ

   That

   خَيْرٌ

   (is) good

   وَأَحْسَنُ

   and best

   تَأْوِيلًا

   (in) result.

   And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with an even balance. That is the best (way) and best in result.
