Sura 17 Al-Isra (The Night Journey), ayah 64
-
وَاسْتَفْزِزْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ مِنْهُمْ بِصَوْتِكَ وَأَجْلِبْ عَلَيْهِمْ بِخَيْلِكَ وَرَجِلِكَ وَشَارِكْهُمْ فِي الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَوْلَادِ وَعِدْهُمْ ۚ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا
Translation by words
- وَٱسْتَفْزِزْ
- And incite
- مَنِ
- whoever
- ٱسْتَطَعْتَ
- you can
- مِنْهُم
- among them
- بِصَوْتِكَ
- with your voice,
- وَأَجْلِبْ
- and assault
- عَلَيْهِم
- [on] them
- بِخَيْلِكَ
- with your cavalry
- وَرَجِلِكَ
- and infantry
- وَشَارِكْهُمْ
- and be a partner
- فِى
- in
- ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ
- the wealth
- وَٱلْأَوْلَٰدِ
- and the children,
- وَعِدْهُمْ
- and promise them."
- وَمَا
- And not
- يَعِدُهُمُ
- promises them
- ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
- the Shaitaan
- إِلَّا
- except
- غُرُورًا
- delusion.
And incite (to senselessness) whoever you can among them with your voice and assault them with your horses and foot soldiers and become a partner in their wealth and their children and promise them." But Satan does not promise them except delusion.
17:64
