Sura 17 Al-Isra (The Night Journey), ayah 75

1. إِذًا لَأَذَقْنَاكَ ضِعْفَ الْحَيَاةِ وَضِعْفَ الْمَمَاتِ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ عَلَيْنَا نَصِيرًا

   Translation by words

   إِذًا

   Then

   لَّأَذَقْنَٰكَ

   We (would) have made you taste

   ضِعْفَ

   double

   ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ

   (in) the life,

   وَضِعْفَ

   and double

   ٱلْمَمَاتِ

   (after) the death.

   ثُمَّ

   Then

   لَا

   not

   تَجِدُ

   you (would) have found

   لَكَ

   for you

   عَلَيْنَا

   against Us

   نَصِيرًا

   any helper.

   Then (if you had), We would have made you taste double (punishment in) life and double (after) death. Then you would not find for yourself against Us a helper.
