Sura 17 Al-Isra (The Night Journey), ayah 81

1. وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ ۚ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا

   Translation by words

   وَقُلْ

   And say,

   جَآءَ

   "Has come

   ٱلْحَقُّ

   the truth

   وَزَهَقَ

   and perished

   ٱلْبَٰطِلُ

   the falsehood.

   إِنَّ

   Indeed,

   ٱلْبَٰطِلَ

   the falsehood

   كَانَ

   is

   زَهُوقًا

   (bound) to perish."

   And say, "Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Indeed is falsehood, (by nature), ever bound to depart."

   17:81
