Sura 17 Al-Isra (The Night Journey), ayah 89
-
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ فَأَبَىٰ أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا
Translation by words
- وَلَقَدْ
- And verily
- صَرَّفْنَا
- We have explained
- لِلنَّاسِ
- to mankind
- فِى
- in
- هَٰذَا
- this
- ٱلْقُرْءَانِ
- Quran
- مِن
- from
- كُلِّ
- every
- مَثَلٍ
- example,
- فَأَبَىٰٓ
- but refused
- أَكْثَرُ
- most
- ٱلنَّاسِ
- (of) the mankind
- إِلَّا
- except
- كُفُورًا
- disbelief.
And We have certainly diversified for the people in this Qur'an from every (kind) of example, but most of the people refused (anything) except disbelief.
17:89
