Sura 20 Ta Ha (Ta-Ha), ayah 117

1. فَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ إِنَّ هَٰذَا عَدُوٌّ لَكَ وَلِزَوْجِكَ فَلَا يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقَىٰ

   Translation by words

   فَقُلْنَا

   Then We said,

   يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ

   "O Adam!

   إِنَّ

   Indeed,

   هَٰذَا

   this

   عَدُوٌّ

   (is) an enemy

   لَّكَ

   to you

   وَلِزَوْجِكَ

   and to your wife.

   فَلَا

   So not

   يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا

   (let) him drive you both

   مِنَ

   from

   ٱلْجَنَّةِ

   Paradise

   فَتَشْقَىٰٓ

   so (that) you would suffer.

   So We said, "O Adam, indeed this is an enemy to you and to your wife. Then let him not remove you from Paradise so you would suffer.
