Sura 23 Al-Mu'minun (The Believers), ayah 109

  1. إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِنْ عِبَادِي يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

    Translation by words

    إِنَّهُۥ
    Indeed,
    كَانَ
    (there) was
    فَرِيقٌ
    a party
    مِّنْ
    of
    عِبَادِى
    My slaves
    يَقُولُونَ
    (who) said,
    رَبَّنَآ
    "Our Lord!
    ءَامَنَّا
    We believe,
    فَٱغْفِرْ
    so forgive
    لَنَا
    us
    وَٱرْحَمْنَا
    and have mercy on us,
    وَأَنتَ
    and You
    خَيْرُ
    (are) best
    ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
    (of) those who show mercy."

    Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'
