Sura 23 Al-Mu'minun (The Believers), ayah 46

1. إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا عَالِينَ

   Translation by words

   إِلَىٰ

   To

   فِرْعَوْنَ

   Firaun

   وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦ

   and his chiefs,

   فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟

   but they behaved arrogantly

   وَكَانُوا۟

   and they were

   قَوْمًا

   a people

   عَالِينَ

   haughty.

   To Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were arrogant and were a haughty people.
