Sura 23 Al-Mu'minun (The Believers), ayah 49

1. وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

   Translation by words

   وَلَقَدْ

   And verily,

   ءَاتَيْنَا

   We gave

   مُوسَى

   Musa

   ٱلْكِتَٰبَ

   the Scripture

   لَعَلَّهُمْ

   so that they may

   يَهْتَدُونَ

   be guided.

   And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture that perhaps they would be guided.
