Sura 23 Al-Mu'minun (The Believers), ayah 80

1. وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلَافُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

   Translation by words

   وَهُوَ

   And He

   ٱلَّذِى

   (is) the One Who

   يُحْىِۦ

   gives life

   وَيُمِيتُ

   and causes death

   وَلَهُ

   and for Him

   ٱخْتِلَٰفُ

   (is the) alternation

   ٱلَّيْلِ

   (of) the night

   وَٱلنَّهَارِ

   and the day.

   أَفَلَا

   Then will not

   تَعْقِلُونَ

   you reason?

   And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason?

   23:80
