Sura 24 An-Nur (The Light), ayah 34

  1. وَلَقَدْ أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ آيَاتٍ مُبَيِّنَاتٍ وَمَثَلًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَلَقَدْ
    And verily,
    أَنزَلْنَآ
    We have sent down
    إِلَيْكُمْ
    to you
    ءَايَٰتٍ
    Verses
    مُّبَيِّنَٰتٍ
    clear,
    وَمَثَلًا
    and an example
    مِّنَ
    of
    ٱلَّذِينَ
    those who
    خَلَوْا۟
    passed away
    مِن
    before you,
    قَبْلِكُمْ
    before you,
    وَمَوْعِظَةً
    and an admonition
    لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
    for those who fear (Allah).

    And We have certainly sent down to you distinct verses and examples from those who passed on before you and an admonition for those who fear Allah.
