Sura 24 An-Nur (The Light), ayah 57

  1. لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ ۖ وَلَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ

    Translation by words

    لَا
    (Do) not
    تَحْسَبَنَّ
    think
    ٱلَّذِينَ
    those who
    كَفَرُوا۟
    disbelieve
    مُعْجِزِينَ
    (can) escape
    فِى
    in
    ٱلْأَرْضِ
    the earth.
    وَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ
    And their abode
    ٱلنَّارُ
    (will be) the Fire
    وَلَبِئْسَ
    and wretched is
    ٱلْمَصِيرُ
    the destination.

    Never think that the disbelievers are causing failure (to Allah) upon the earth. Their refuge will be the Fire - and how wretched the destination.
