Sura 24 An-Nur (The Light), ayah 6

  1. وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ أَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ شُهَدَاءُ إِلَّا أَنْفُسُهُمْ فَشَهَادَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ أَرْبَعُ شَهَادَاتٍ بِاللَّهِ ۙ إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَٱلَّذِينَ
    And those who
    يَرْمُونَ
    accuse
    أَزْوَٰجَهُمْ
    their spouses
    وَلَمْ
    and not
    يَكُن
    have
    لَّهُمْ
    for them
    شُهَدَآءُ
    witnesses
    إِلَّآ
    except
    أَنفُسُهُمْ
    themselves,
    فَشَهَٰدَةُ
    then (the) testimony
    أَحَدِهِمْ
    (of) one of them
    أَرْبَعُ
    (is) four
    شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ
    testimonies
    بِٱللَّهِ
    by Allah,
    إِنَّهُۥ
    that he
    لَمِنَ
    (is) surely of
    ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
    the truthful.

    And those who accuse their wives (of adultery) and have no witnesses except themselves - then the witness of one of them (shall be) four testimonies (swearing) by Allah that indeed, he is of the truthful.
