Sura 25 Al-Furqan (The Criterion), ayah 30
-
وَقَالَ الرَّسُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَهْجُورًا
Translation by words
- وَقَالَ
- And said
- ٱلرَّسُولُ
- the Messenger,
- يَٰرَبِّ
- "O my Lord!
- إِنَّ
- Indeed,
- قَوْمِى
- my people
- ٱتَّخَذُوا۟
- took
- هَٰذَا
- this
- ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
- the Quran
- مَهْجُورًا
- (as) a forsaken thing."
And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as (a thing) abandoned."
25:30
