Sura 25 Al-Furqan (The Criterion), ayah 50

1. وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَاهُ بَيْنَهُمْ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا فَأَبَىٰ أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا

   Translation by words

   وَلَقَدْ

   And verily,

   صَرَّفْنَٰهُ

   We have distributed it

   بَيْنَهُمْ

   among them

   لِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟

   that they may remember,

   فَأَبَىٰٓ

   but refuse

   أَكْثَرُ

   most

   ٱلنَّاسِ

   (of) the people

   إِلَّا

   except

   كُفُورًا

   disbelief.

   And We have certainly distributed it among them that they might be reminded, but most of the people refuse except disbelief.
