Sura 25 Al-Furqan (The Criterion), ayah 65

  1. وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا

    Translation by words

    وَٱلَّذِينَ
    And those who
    يَقُولُونَ
    say,
    رَبَّنَا
    "Our Lord!
    ٱصْرِفْ
    Avert
    عَنَّا
    from us
    عَذَابَ
    the punishment
    جَهَنَّمَ
    (of) Hell.
    إِنَّ
    Indeed,
    عَذَابَهَا
    its punishment
    كَانَ
    is
    غَرَامًا
    inseparable,

    And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering;
