Sura 25 Al-Furqan (The Criterion), ayah 74

  1. وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

    Translation by words

    وَٱلَّذِينَ
    And those who
    يَقُولُونَ
    say,
    رَبَّنَا
    "Our Lord!
    هَبْ
    Grant
    لَنَا
    to us
    مِنْ
    from
    أَزْوَٰجِنَا
    our spouses
    وَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَا
    and our offspring
    قُرَّةَ
    comfort
    أَعْيُنٍ
    (to) our eyes,
    وَٱجْعَلْنَا
    and make us
    لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
    for the righteous
    إِمَامًا
    a leader."

    And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."
