Sura 26 Ash-Shu'ara' (The Poets), ayah 157

1. فَعَقَرُوهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا نَادِمِينَ

   Translation by words

   فَعَقَرُوهَا

   But they hamstrung her,

   فَأَصْبَحُوا۟

   then they became

   نَٰدِمِينَ

   regretful.

   But they hamstrung her and so became regretful.

   26:157

Translation: Saheeh International
