Sura 26 Ash-Shu'ara' (The Poets), ayah 173

1. وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا ۖ فَسَاءَ مَطَرُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ

   Translation by words

   وَأَمْطَرْنَا

   And We rained

   عَلَيْهِم

   upon them

   مَّطَرًا

   a rain,

   فَسَآءَ

   and evil was

   مَطَرُ

   (was) the rain

   ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ

   (on) those who were warned.

   And We rained upon them a rain (of stones), and evil was the rain of those who were warned.

   26:173
