Sura 26 Ash-Shu'ara' (The Poets), ayah 199

  1. فَقَرَأَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ مُؤْمِنِينَ

    Translation by words

    فَقَرَأَهُۥ
    And he (had) recited it
    عَلَيْهِم
    to them,
    مَّا
    not
    كَانُوا۟
    they would
    بِهِۦ
    in it
    مُؤْمِنِينَ
    (be) believers.

    And he had recited it to them (perfectly), they would (still) not have been believers in it.
