Sura 26 Ash-Shu'ara' (The Poets), ayah 29

1. قَالَ لَئِنِ اتَّخَذْتَ إِلَٰهًا غَيْرِي لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ الْمَسْجُونِينَ

   Translation by words

   قَالَ

   He said,

   لَئِنِ

   "If

   ٱتَّخَذْتَ

   you take

   إِلَٰهًا

   a god

   غَيْرِى

   other than me,

   لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ

   I will surely make you

   مِنَ

   among

   ٱلْمَسْجُونِينَ

   those imprisoned."

   (Pharaoh) said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned."

   26:29
