Sura 26 Ash-Shu'ara' (The Poets), ayah 41

  1. فَلَمَّا جَاءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا لِفِرْعَوْنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِنْ كُنَّا نَحْنُ الْغَالِبِينَ

    Translation by words

    فَلَمَّا
    So when
    جَآءَ
    came
    ٱلسَّحَرَةُ
    the magicians,
    قَالُوا۟
    they said
    لِفِرْعَوْنَ
    to Firaun,
    أَئِنَّ
    "Is there
    لَنَا
    for us
    لَأَجْرًا
    a reward
    إِن
    if
    كُنَّا
    we are
    نَحْنُ
    we are
    ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ
    the victorious?"

    And when the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, "Is there indeed for us a reward if we are the predominant?"
