Sura 27 An-Naml (The Ant), ayah 7

  1. إِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَهْلِهِ إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا سَآتِيكُمْ مِنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ آتِيكُمْ بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ

    Translation by words

    إِذْ
    When
    قَالَ
    said
    مُوسَىٰ
    Musa
    لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ
    to his family,
    إِنِّىٓ
    "Indeed, I
    ءَانَسْتُ
    perceive
    نَارًا
    a fire.
    سَـَٔاتِيكُم
    I will bring you
    مِّنْهَا
    from it
    بِخَبَرٍ
    some information
    أَوْ
    or
    ءَاتِيكُم
    I will bring you
    بِشِهَابٍ
    a torch
    قَبَسٍ
    burning
    لَّعَلَّكُمْ
    so that you may
    تَصْطَلُونَ
    warm yourselves."

    (Mention) when Moses said to his family, "Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves."
