Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 13

  1. فَرَدَدْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ أُمِّهِ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَلِتَعْلَمَ أَنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

    Translation by words

    فَرَدَدْنَٰهُ
    So We restored him
    إِلَىٰٓ
    to
    أُمِّهِۦ
    his mother
    كَىْ
    that
    تَقَرَّ
    might be comforted
    عَيْنُهَا
    her eye,
    وَلَا
    and not
    تَحْزَنَ
    she may grieve
    وَلِتَعْلَمَ
    and that she would know,
    أَنَّ
    that
    وَعْدَ
    the Promise of Allah
    ٱللَّهِ
    the Promise of Allah
    حَقٌّ
    (is) true.
    وَلَٰكِنَّ
    But
    أَكْثَرَهُمْ
    most of them
    لَا
    (do) not
    يَعْلَمُونَ
    know.

    So We restored him to his mother that she might be content and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of the people do not know.
