Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 81

  1. فَخَسَفْنَا بِهِ وَبِدَارِهِ الْأَرْضَ فَمَا كَانَ لَهُ مِنْ فِئَةٍ يَنْصُرُونَهُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُنْتَصِرِينَ

    Translation by words

    فَخَسَفْنَا
    Then We caused to swallow up,
    بِهِۦ
    him
    وَبِدَارِهِ
    and his home,
    ٱلْأَرْضَ
    the earth.
    فَمَا
    Then not
    كَانَ
    was
    لَهُۥ
    for him
    مِن
    any
    فِئَةٍ
    group
    يَنصُرُونَهُۥ
    (to) help him
    مِن
    besides
    دُونِ
    besides
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah,
    وَمَا
    and not
    كَانَ
    was
    مِنَ
    (he) of
    ٱلْمُنتَصِرِينَ
    those who (could) defend themselves.

    And We caused the earth to swallow him and his home. And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah, nor was he of those who (could) defend themselves.
