Sura 29 Al-'Ankabut (The Spider), ayah 6

1. وَمَنْ جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ

   Translation by words

   وَمَن

   And whoever

   جَٰهَدَ

   strives

   فَإِنَّمَا

   then only

   يُجَٰهِدُ

   he strives

   لِنَفْسِهِۦٓ

   for himself.

   إِنَّ

   Indeed,

   ٱللَّهَ

   Allah

   لَغَنِىٌّ

   (is) Free from need

   عَنِ

   of

   ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

   the worlds.

   And whoever strives only strives for (the benefit of) himself. Indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.

   29:6

Translation: Saheeh International
