Sura 29 Al-'Ankabut (The Spider), ayah 68
-
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِلْكَافِرِينَ
Translation by words
- وَمَنْ
- And who
- أَظْلَمُ
- (is) more unjust
- مِمَّنِ
- than (he) who
- ٱفْتَرَىٰ
- invents
- عَلَى
- against
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- كَذِبًا
- a lie
- أَوْ
- or
- كَذَّبَ
- denies
- بِٱلْحَقِّ
- the truth
- لَمَّا
- when
- جَآءَهُۥٓ
- it has come to him.
- أَلَيْسَ
- Is there not
- فِى
- in
- جَهَنَّمَ
- Hell
- مَثْوًى
- an abode
- لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- for the disbelievers?
And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a (sufficient) residence for the disbelievers?
29:68
Translation: Saheeh International
