Sura 2 Al-Baqarah (The Cow), ayah 130

  1. وَمَنْ يَرْغَبُ عَنْ مِلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِلَّا مَنْ سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُ ۚ وَلَقَدِ اصْطَفَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَمَن
    And who
    يَرْغَبُ
    will turn away
    عَن
    from
    مِّلَّةِ
    (the) religion
    إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ
    (of) Ibrahim
    إِلَّا
    except
    مَن
    who
    سَفِهَ
    fooled
    نَفْسَهُۥ
    himself?
    وَلَقَدِ
    And indeed
    ٱصْطَفَيْنَٰهُ
    We chose him
    فِى
    in
    ٱلدُّنْيَا
    the world,
    وَإِنَّهُۥ
    and indeed he,
    فِى
    in,
    ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
    the Hereafter
    لَمِنَ
    surely (will be) among
    ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
    the righteous.

    And who would be averse to the religion of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous.
