Sura 2 Al-Baqarah (The Cow), ayah 137
-
فَإِنْ آمَنُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا آمَنْتُمْ بِهِ فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوْا ۖ وَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا هُمْ فِي شِقَاقٍ ۖ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Translation by words
- فَإِنْ
- So if
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- they believe[d]
- بِمِثْلِ
- in (the) like
- مَآ
- (of) what
- ءَامَنتُم
- you have believed
- بِهِۦ
- in [it],
- فَقَدِ
- then indeed,
- ٱهْتَدَوا۟
- they are (rightly) guided.
- وَّإِن
- But if
- تَوَلَّوْا۟
- they turn away,
- فَإِنَّمَا
- then only
- هُمْ
- they
- فِى
- (are) in
- شِقَاقٍ
- dissension.
- فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ
- So will suffice you against them
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah,
- وَهُوَ
- and He
- ٱلسَّمِيعُ
- (is) the All-Hearing,
- ٱلْعَلِيمُ
- the All-Knowing.
So if they believe in the same as you believe in, then they have been (rightly) guided; but if they turn away, they are only in dissension, and Allah will be sufficient for you against them. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
