Sura 2 Al-Baqarah (The Cow), ayah 148

  1. وَلِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا ۖ فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ ۚ أَيْنَ مَا تَكُونُوا يَأْتِ بِكُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

    Translation by words

    وَلِكُلٍّ
    And for everyone
    وِجْهَةٌ
    (is) a direction -
    هُوَ
    he
    مُوَلِّيهَا
    turns towards it,
    فَٱسْتَبِقُوا۟
    so race
    ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ
    (to) the good.
    أَيْنَ
    Wherever
    مَا
    that
    تَكُونُوا۟
    you will be
    يَأْتِ
    will bring
    بِكُمُ
    you
    ٱللَّهُ
    (by) Allah
    جَمِيعًا
    together.
    إِنَّ
    Indeed,
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    عَلَىٰ
    (is) on
    كُلِّ
    every
    شَىْءٍ
    thing
    قَدِيرٌ
    All-Powerful.

    For each (religious following) is a direction toward which it faces. So race to (all that is) good. Wherever you may be, Allah will bring you forth (for judgement) all together. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
