Sura 2 Al-Baqarah (The Cow), ayah 156

1. الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

   Translation by words

   ٱلَّذِينَ

   Those who,

   إِذَآ

   when

   أَصَٰبَتْهُم

   strikes them

   مُّصِيبَةٌ

   a misfortune,

   قَالُوٓا۟

   they say,

   إِنَّا

   "Indeed, we

   لِلَّهِ

   belong to Allah

   وَإِنَّآ

   and indeed we

   إِلَيْهِ

   towards Him

   رَٰجِعُونَ

   will return."

   Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return."

   2:156
